Why this site exists
I started looking properly at lash serums after buying three in a row that promised the same thing and delivered three different disappointments. What I found was a category where the marketing is loud, the ingredient lists are quiet, and the honest answer — this will improve the lashes you have, over about three months — is almost never the one on the box.
So this site does the boring part. I read the full ingredient list for every serum, work out what each active can plausibly do for a hair as fine and fast-cycling as an eyelash, and rank products on that basis. Then I say plainly which one I would hand to a friend.
How I work
- Ingredients first. Marketing copy is read last, if at all.
- Realistic timelines. Twelve weeks, nightly, or the review does not count.
- Safety over drama. I default to prostaglandin-free formulas and explain the trade-off rather than hiding it.
- No payment for coverage. Not for a place in a ranking, not for a link, not for a kind word.
What I write about
Lash and brow serums, the ingredients inside them, application technique, and the safety questions readers actually ask — irritation, pigmentation, extensions, contact lenses, pregnancy. Where a question crosses into medicine, I say so and point you to an eye-care professional instead of guessing.
Talk to me
Corrections, reformulation tip-offs, questions and disagreements are all welcome via the contact page. I do not accept products in exchange for coverage, and I do not run sponsored posts.
